There is always something more when it comes to creativity. This blog post is about one of the many ways to make zentangle/mandala art more creative which is adding beautiful colors!!!! Colors have a great effect on our minds. It can be used as a way of influencing, conveying and expressing our thoughts and feelings.

There are many ways and different mediums that can be used to make a zentangle/mandala art colorful. These are the few mediums: Color pencils, crayons, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, oil paint, markers, sketch pens, oil & chalk pastels.

5 TIPS TO MAKE ZENTANGLE/MANDALA ART MORE CREATIVE AND COLORFUL

1. Background: You can use color as Background and then draw zentangles/mandala over it. You can use single color,  different shades of a color or fusion multiple colors as Background.

2. Fill colors into the pattern.        

3. Add colorful doodles around your zentangles.

4. Use different shapes as background and add color.

5. Make space inside your zentangle art to fill it up with any of above ideas. 

When I first started drawing zentangles I was quite hesitant about trying these. After some time I gave it a try. It was fun and turned out pretty good.
